The butterfly

Day 239: 12th December, 2019

Tonight we took Ella to a gong sound bath which she had never been to before. Ella went in Zach’s room to get his blanket I sewed for her that was in his wardrobe. She was in there for a while so I went in to check on her. She was sitting on his bed crying and I said to her, would you like any of his clothes like his shirts and got a few out. At this point we are both crying and I said to her, “It’s hard to believe” and at that instant we heard a flapping coming from next to his bed and looked over at the lamp and inside it was a beautiful Peacock butterfly with blue and purple circles on its wings that look like eyes. It came out of nowhere and flew around the room. Mind you it is December and there are no butterflies around and because it is winter, all the windows and doors are shut. It landed on us and then flew all over the bedroom. We got video clips and pictures of it. Zach dropped it in. This is the 4th butterfly he has given to us as a gift to help us heal and let us know he is still with us.
