Ask for help and you will receive

It's time to do the annual accounts for Zach's House and I was struggling to submit them properly. It's task that you only do once a year and each year I seem to forget some critical part of the process, this year was no different.

As I'm struggling, I asked Zach for help and I felt him say "just call HMRC they'll sort it"

So after being on hold for 20 minutes a nice lady answers my call and it goes something like this.

HMRC Lady " hello could I have the name of the company you're calling about"

Me " Zach's House CIC"

HMRC Lady " are you responsible for the company accounts?"

me, " yes, my wife and I started the company"

HMRC Lady " ok Zach no problem I'm sure I can help you today"

I was stopped in my tracks she assumed I was Zach and when i explained the story she said all the things nice people say, "I'm sorry etc, etc" but I told her it was wonderful she said his name and sure enough she didn't quit helping me until the accounts were submitted.
