Rain

Day 45: 1st June, 2019

We went camping over the weekend to Bala, one of Zach’s favourite places and I was having a hard day so I asked Zach to let me see him. I had taken this picture we have of him which always goes with us and put it on the shelf by one of the windows of the van. We all went to the bathroom and as we were walking back, Martin heard Zach tell him to “look a the van,” When he did, Zach’s picture was perfectly centred in the window and his face was in the perfect position. It was as though he was standing in the van looking at us. When we decided to leave and load up the van it was chucking down with rain. Anne and I both asked Zach at separate times and unaware that each other had asked, to hold off the rain while we cleared up and the rain stopped just as we started to pack up and while we took down the tent! We heard a steam train toot its horn and I said “it’s Zach giving us 15 minute warning!” Then it went off again in about another 5 minutes as if to say you need to hurry. I kid you not, the instant we finished packing up and got in the van it started to rain again and then the heavens opened. You just can't make it up!!!
