Day 62: 18th June, 2019
Martin and I left for the weekend to go to see the Fleetwood Mac and Bon Jovi concerts I mentioned in an earlier post. When we were at Fleetwood Mac, during the concert, one of the screens had a circle with images on it and at the bottom was a long rectangular shape with an outline of a chicken in it! I didn’t get a picture but wish I had. When we went to Bon Jovi, the following night, the row directly behind and in front of us were all open but all the other seats around us were full. When they played Living on a Prayer and the stadium went nuts. It was definitely the best song of the night and we could feel Zach and his friends around us. It was as though there were people all around us in the empty seats. I can’t explain the feeling but it was so full of energy and this loving feeling everywhere directly around us. Then during this song, one of the screens had images in it and had a chicken in it too! Bon Jovi was Zach’s first concert he attended when he was 7. While we were away, one of Zach’s friends stayed at the house with the dogs. She walked into the living room to watch TV. While she was drinking her tea she heard noises up stairs. She started to watch a film and heard banging from the kitchen, like the cabinet doors were being slammed. Scruffy was sat on the sofa across from her she then heard a loud sound of foot steps in the hall and then in the kitchen. Both dogs were with her so she knew it couldn’t be the dogs and no one else was there. Scruffy jumped up and nudged Zach’s box of ashes with his nose that were above the fire mantle and started to bark. He ran into the kitchen and then back to the living room and started barking at Mary. She got up and followed him into the kitchen where she found one of the kitchen cabinets under the sink open and then followed Scruff to the back door and it was wide open about 2 feet as well. This is a heavy door and there is no way it can open on it’s own!
